First Home Owner Grant is a one-off grant payment to first home owners that satisfy eligibility criteria. As of 25 September 2013, first home owners purchasing or building a new home may be eligible to receive a grant up to $10,000. First home owners purchasing an established home may be eligible for a grant up to $3,000.
A household may be eligible for Stamp Duty Concession depending on the cost of the house or land, and whether they are a first home owner, or are eligible for another concessional rate of duty.
The Home Buyers Assistance Account is a West Australian grant of up to $2,000 for the incidental expenses of first home buyers when they purchase an established or partially built home through a licensed real estate agent for the purchase price of $400,000 or less.
A household may be eligible for Shared Home Ownership 1300 761 885 if they earn between $50,000 and $75,000 or less than $90,000 for couples/families, among other criteria. Through this scheme up to 30% of a mortgage can be shared with the State Government.

Indigenous Business Australia’s 1800 107 107 Indigenous Home Ownership program provides an affordable entry into home ownership for Indigenous Australians, particularly those on lower incomes, and first home buyers who have difficulty obtaining housing loan finance from mainstream commercial lenders.
